My Blog section is becoming to track point of the Nurburgring’s latest record laps. As you can see that even a under 7 minutes record lap can’t last longer anymore. Sorry Ferrari you are now second because of some other Italian.
Zonda F”s lap time was 7:27 but now the R model did it in 6:47 which is almost 10 seconds faster than Ferrari 599XX. It’s a pretty quick lap and the car goes and sounds like an F1 car. Hardly say that both cars are street legal but it’s amazing to see these cars’ achievements.
With just fifteen examples of the 1.5 million-euro track car being built, the Zonda R is one of the most exclusive Italian sportscars ever. It weighs 1070kg, and is powered by a 6.0L V12 producing 740bhp and 524lb ft of torque. That’s enough to propel it to 62mph in less than 2.7secs and on to 218mph.
